This book was dark, twisted, and completely addictive. Please read warnings! This book is not for everyone! I knew I should probably question my life choices, but I couldn’t put it down. The tension, obsession, and the backstories had me hooked from beginning to end. The ending was insane, the characters were addictive, and now I’m suffering ahhh.

A great first book by A.L Owens, the plot was plotting, the spice was there but it was absolutely plot over spice! This book had me gripped from page one. It’s sad, traumatic and will have you in your feelings. Ace holds a place in my heart, poor broken soul 😞 beautifully written, fast paced, will keep you wanting to know more. This book contains extreme themes, but they are written with care!

Honestly so impressed with this book, Firstly I really enjoyed the writing style, it's easy to follow, uses simplistic language but still is quite descriptive. I really like a jokey style of writing where the characters express a lot of sarcasm and jokes and even though this book does cover very dark themes it still manages to execute that jokey sense of humour. I was captivated by the plot twists and the cliff hanger at the end so much i desperately need book 2.
